2020 Conference News

SAVE THE DATE!  Plan to join us at the 2020 ASLA Central States Conference in Omaha to earn CEU’s and network with landscape architects and associated industry!

Conference Dates: April 22 – 24, 2020
Conference Location: Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District

The theme for the conference is FUSE 2020, and focuses on how landscape architects are part of a collaborative industry fused together with multiple disciplines and trades. Even though we all specify and excel in our differing fields, it is critical to remember that in order to achieve true excellence we must work as a cohesive unit.

The conference will be held at the beautiful Omaha Marriott Downtown Hotel in the heart of the Capitol District in Downtown Omaha. Newly opened in August 2017, this hotel showcases sleek sophisticated and engaging design. The Capitol District connects the Old Market to the events district and links the Riverfront to the downtown business district. The CHI Health Center, TD Ameritrade Park and other entertainment venues are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The Capitol District is a “dynamic destination that provides a fun Omaha experience for residents and visitors.”

Please mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information to come as the date approaches. On behalf of the Nebraska/Dakotas Chapter, we hope to see you in April!
